Prof. Lorraine Sheppard

Lorraine was appointed to the AMC in May 2020 and has been Deputy Chair since September 2024. Through her leadership and service delivery in allied health, clinical and aged care services, Lorraine is familiar with the changing nature of aged care, with the implementation of government reforms and responses to the needs of people who seek care. Lorraine has considerable board experience and holds qualifications and registration as a health professional and a physiotherapist relevant to the care of older people and is accomplished in the design, application and evaluation of clinical governance activities.
