Prof. Judy Searle

Judy was appointed to the AMC in May 2020. She is a medical specialist and currently Deputy Board Chair and Chair of the Safety, Quality and Clinical Committee of Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service (GCHHS). Judy has deep experience in clinical governance, quality and safety standards and risk management and brings a breadth of knowledge of the wider health and education sectors including government health policy (at a federal, state and territory level), regulation and accreditation, senior leadership and advisory, and medico-politics. Judy sees the opportunity to advocate and support the Aged Care sector as a natural extension to her contribution to community, especially to those who are more vulnerable.
