Alwyndor’s Catering Services Manager Linda James was recently named the state winner of the Values in Action Award by the Institute of Hospitality in HealthCare – IHHC.

At a national awards conference in November, Linda also won the National Values in Action Award.

In addition, Linda received the prestigious Rosemary Anne Pirie OAM Award, the highest honour the IHHC can bestow.

Linda is very proud but humbled and says the awards are a testament to the whole team’s commitment to delivering the best quality service.

This recognises not only the work done in the kitchen but also the continued high food satisfaction ratings and the range of engagement activities directly involving residents and their caregivers.

They are offered opportunities to taste and discuss menu items, which help inform the team to improve the delivery and quality of catering menus and service.
